Begur and its coves

A small village with a great monumental and scenic legacy, considered the heart of the Empordà region. The old centre of this village has been a shelter for coral collectors, fishermen and emigrants returned from Cuba and, together with its mediaeval castle, they have given the town is great historical character.

In addition to all these unique features, there is the natural setting formed by its eight beaches and small coves, such as Sa Tuna, Sa Riera, Aiguafreda or Aiguablava, which make Begur a site of great natural and cultural wealth.
